Conservative Congressional Candidate Prevails at Rockingham County Straw Poll   Manchester – This afternoon conservative congressional candidate Frank Guinta (NH-1) continued his string of victories at Republican Party straw polls by winning the one hosted by the Rockingham County Republican Committee. With all votes counted, Guinta was announced the victor before a cheering crowd, having received 36% of the votes cast in the First Congressional District race. This is the fourth consecutive straw poll won by Team Guinta and the biggest event won thus far. Entering the straw poll, Team Guinta had purchased only ten tickets to the event, making the victory all the more impressive. When notified of his latest victory, Frank Guinta commented: “I am truly heartened by the strong support I received from the attendees at the Rockingham County Republican Picnic. While some campaigns relied upon buying large numbers of tickets to try to win this contest, my campaign relied upon our grassroots network. I could not have won this event without their support and I thank all attendees for coming out today to show the strength that exists within our party.” Before attending the straw poll in Brentwood, Guinta knocked on doors in Exeter to meet potential voters and discuss with them why he is running for Congress. During that same period, Team Guinta volunteers attended the American Independence Festival where they handed out pocket-sized US Constitutions to the crowd. ###
