Guinta Wins Tax Day Tea Party Straw Poll; In a Landslide
81% of Tea Party Straw Poll Voters Prefer Frank’s Low Tax, Less Spending, Small Government Message
Manchester- In a landslide victory, Mayor Frank Guinta wins 81% of Tea Party goers vote. Guinta’s margin of victory was the most decisive of any of the contests featured on the straw poll ballot. In the race for the right to take on Carol Shea-Porter and her big government agenda, Team Guinta continues to gain momentum. Since getting into the race on May 11th of last year, Frank has held eight town halls and participated in numerous Tea-Party and 9-12 events. His leadership on the issues like the government takeover of health care, ending the “stimulus” era of endless bailouts, wasteful spending and government ownership of private industry, and applying a constitutionality test to each and every bill brought before Congress is winning him strong support.
“I honored to have earned such a decisive victory. The Tea Party movement in New Hampshire and across this country has provided a much needed spark and platform for a limited government message that needs to be heard. This energized, educated, and engaged movement is diverse and represents a growing majority that believe the time has come to return our country to the principles it was founded on. I will continue to spread my message of repealing the government takeover of health care, ending the “stimulus” era of endless bailouts, wasteful spending, and government ownership of private industry, and applying a Constitutionality test to each and every bill brought before Congress. On election day, I hope I have earned the right and honor of serving the people of this District as their next Congressman,” said Frank Guinta.
